New adventures
From a daughter in laws perspective this is such a exciting time for the entire Johnston family. I personally have never been in the room when the big white envelope was opened. That I was able to be a part of my 2nd parents opening of the envelope was so incredibly special. I hope with all my heart that all of my children remember the experience as well. I know that all of us here in Georgia are going to miss all the Sunday dinners, and impromptu gatherings. We are going to miss Grandpa taking pictures of the grand kids and Grandma adoring every little thing her granddaughters show her. But what they are giving us by being willing to go and serve the Lord for 18 months is far more valuable. As families we will watch their adventures and learn from their example. We will pray as families for their well being and guidance. In order to help us all be a part of their adventure, it's our hope that maybe they will use this blog. Maybe post a picture or two, maybe write a letter for us to share. If not, thats ok. We just want them to know we love them and look forward anxiously, to hear of their journey.
